Horrible Storms!

DSC02903C

Horrible, horrible storms passed through Alabama the last two nights creating a lot of tornados. Many people lost their lives yesterday and last night. Lots of people lost their homes and businesses. Please pray for these families during their time of need. Last night a tornado passed within an eighth of a mile of the house. I was outside and could feel the strange wind and I saw the orange sky. I didn’t realize just how close it was to my home. Nights like that certainly have a way of putting things into perspective and can make you realize just how fragile life is… none of us are promised tomorrow. Hope this finds you all well and happy. Blessings~ Randy

I am glad to hear that you are safe and well. Though tomorrow is not in our hands we should never live in fear.
I'll remember the poor ones who lost their dear ones in my prayers tomorrow.

Glad that you are safe. It was scary last night. The devastation was so horrible and so many lives lost. I just can't believe it.

I was thinking about ya'll. So glad everything is fine. I remember when you got hit with a tornado a few years back. I know of a few people north of Birmingham that have lost their homes, but they weren't injured. really sad. Glad to hear ya'll are safe

Randy,

That is too close for comfort, glad you were passed by. It has been a terrible season for tornadoes, we rarely get them and had the worst on record two weeks ago. Lets pray that these storms are finished for the year, we just don't need any more.

Oh, Randy, I am so glad that you guys are okay. I have been praying for those involved in the storms. We were scared last night, but thankfully the storms lost some of their punch by the time they reached NC. Thank goodness that you are okay. Carla

Have thought of you and am relieved to know you are safe and didn't have damage like the last tornado that hit your home and gardens. I am sorry for the lives lost and all the damage that has been done. It is just devastating and my heart goes out to those caught up in the madness of mother nature. Life is so fragile and what we take forgranted each moment can surely be lost the next. Take care;-)
