I can't wait to get together with you and discuss photography tips. What is that Double Tiger plant? A Canna? I want one of those!

It's a double tiger lily, Phillip.I wish I had known you wanted one we would have gotten you some this weekend. They were marked down to $3.00 at Petals From the Past.

Hi Randy and Jamie, I want to comment on the East Bed post, you two are the fastest garden creators I have ever seen. It looks like it has been there for a while too. All good scores, I grow a couple of those, the crocosmia and the crossvine are great plants. your photos are clear and vivid, how much better can you get? What type of plant is the first one, summer sky?

Thank you Gail! I just wish I would have had more time to type up a little something about the flowers I posted. :-)

Frances,
Jamie and I are an excellent team. We can read each others minds. :-)
The yellow flower is Heliopsis helianthoides False Sunflower, Ox-eye Sunflower I bought it from a plant sale to help the Birmingham Botanical Gardens and I have never been able to find the cultivar 'Summer Sky' online to date. I save all my plant tags and I pulled it to be certain of the name.

I am struck dumb (not an easy feat) by the cannas. I have so few and none as gorgeous as yours. I'm adding these to my shopping list!

Ann,
We have 29 different cultivars of canna and you know those will need to be divided often. If you see something that peaks your interest on the site just let me know. ;-) This site has fantastic prices for large tubers.

I've never been a Canna fan, but that Maudie could change my mind. You also grow 2 of my favorite Salvias that I want to grow. And your Lilies are wonderful.

MMG-
We are so glad to have you visiting with us. And, thank you very much for the compliments!

Jan-
That Maudie is a bright pink, isn't it! I think it's very pretty. It only gets about two and a half feet tall.

Chuck-
Everyone really seems to love that Tiger Lily. I feel like we should have bought more of them now. :-)
