In the Garden 03/25/12

Well good morning to one and all! I got an early start on the day this morning at 3AM. I don’t know what has gotten into me and my inability to sleep as of late. I worked in the garden all day long yesterday doing some more tweaking here and there and I wanted to get a look at the work I did this morning. I’m going to get out there again in a few minutes and do some more chores. I think later on today I’ll ride to Lowes and see what they have in stock. I think I’ll pick up a few things to plant in some holes. The garden is really starting to wake up and I’m always amazed at how much larger everything is than it was the year before. The little pink flags you see are markers for where the Master Gardeners are coming to remove plants. Enjoy the pictures and I hope you all have a nice Sunday, looks like it’s going to be gorgeous here.

Something has been munching on my English Dogwood blooms, but I really liked the way the sun was turning it gold this morning.

Wow!
Is the first image really taken this spring?
Here at my home it`s snowing again today :( Temperature is about +1 degrees and there´s strong stormy wind. Here in the Northern- Europe we are still waiting .... where is real spring?

So...you're so excited about gardening, you're getting up at 3am. Darling, I think you're addicted to the dirt. The design looks great and the bloomers are beautiful.

Happy Spring (we're heading to France on Tuesday). Glad I caught your post before leaving.

Randy,
Ah!!! As always your garden is an inspiration and maybe sparks just a little twinkling of jealousy, lol. It truly is a remarkable place. Glad to see that the Master Gardeners got back in touch with you and are coming to the plants. Can’t wait to see what you pick up while out and about today. Take care. – gary

Wow. Such a beautiful garden this early in the spring. It is nice and warm here and everything is growing. I have been so grateful to be able to get out in the garden more recently.

You sound like DH's family; my MIL got up at 3:30am for work and when DH has to round on patients in the hospital he gets up at 4. I hope you can get your sleep worked out soon.

Your garden looks so peaceful and your flowers are beautiful.

Mare,
Welcome to my blog! It so good to have you reading!

Freda,
Enjoy France!

Gary,
The plants the MG took didn’t even make a dent in the garden. LOL I plan on donating every year from this point further.

Bama Gardener,
Welcome! I’ll be by to check out your blog soon!

Sweetbay,
My Daddy always said when you have a guilty conscious you can’t sleep. Uh Oh, I must be MIGHTY guilty of SOMETHING these days. LOL

Darla,
It’s always good to see you here.

Lisa,
I got your previous anonymous post in an email, but I have no idea why it’s not showing in the blog.

Dianna,
That salad you posted looks delicious! I’ll be back to get a better visit soon. These days it’s difficult for me to even get a post done.

Wow Dee!
So good to see you paying a visit! Hope things are growing good your way!
