Today is the 4 year blogiversary of ‘Our Eden’ and really, the garden is also four years old this month. My gosh… how my world has changed over these four years. I guess we never really know what life has in store for us, do we?
No doubt the people that read this blog regularly, have noticed my absence the past few months and it’s been a sporadic thing over the past two years. While I don’t care to go into detail about what was happening I’ve been using my absence the last couple of months to attempt to heal physically and emotionally. I’m still not quite there yet, but things seem to get a tiny bit better with every month that passes.
Don’t give up on me and the blog just yet. :-) I’m hoping that next spring will be a much better time for me and that the joy I once got from toiling in the soil will return to me full force. I have some new ideas for the garden, but for now I need to use this time to heal. Maybe between now and then I might even get in another post or two. :0) I just wanted all of you to know how much I appreciate the support you've give the blog over the past four years even in my times of absence. Thank you!

Randy,
How wonderful to see your post this morning and more over how “wonderful” to be hearing (well reading, lol) from “you”. As always you garden is “the envy” of the rest of us who scratch in the earth hoping something beautiful will spring forth. Oh, and before I ramble on and forget, “Happy Blogiversary”. I don’t know if you are aware of it but you and your blog have been a great source of inspiration and knowledge.
As the old saying goes, “you can never get enough of a good thing”. So it goes for you and your blog and yes I find myself selfishly wanting to see and read more of your postings. I do, however, know and understand that life likes to throw us curves and hurtles that we must navigate but the great thing about it is that it means we are alive. So Randy, fight the fight, climb the hill, run the race, but always know that we all will be waiting to hear all about it when you have the time.
And if sometimes you don’t feel like doing and all out blog just drop an email saying everything is “A OK”. Take care and again “Happy Blogiversary”. – gary
Randy - It is good to hear from you and I wish you all the best in your healing process. Each of us finds our way through to what works best, but chocolate and a massage always helps! Be good to yourself.
Happy blogiversary!
Freda
Congrats on your 4th blogiversary. Don't give up on your garden. I certainly won't give up on you. You are strong and will recover nicely. Your garden will be awaiting you just as we will be. Big hugs.
Randy,
Hope things turn around for you and life gets easy again. Happy anniversary!
Randy, I was good to see you post today. I hope you can get back to your garden this spring. I so enjoy seeing your lovely garden. I fully understand your blogging absence. Things have happened here that took a lot out of me, and I am only now getting back to blogging more regularly. Take care of yourself. (Love that pink Turk's cap.)

Always Growing
Hey, here you are! Great to see you here, congrats on 4!! and many more. I really want a piece of that pink turk's cap, I have the red....roots easily you know,:)
Glad to see a post--I totally understand your situation and often find blogging hard, too, even gardening. Glad to hear you are doing well, and have ideas for the garden!! The mock orange you sent a while ago has really grown! :)
I hope you continue to heal, and happy blog anniversary.
That's the nice thing about bloggers - they always come back to say hello. Continue to improve and get well. Spring will be here before you know it!
So nice to hear from you, Randy... for the comment on my blog and then to see you are still gardening and letting us know you are okay. Life does take some twists and turns but I know you will find your way to a healed heart and soul. Love that PINK turk's cap... have never seen it in pink. Your mexican sage is stunning, too. God bless.
