David Perry picked the subject for this months Gardening Gone Wild photo contest. The challenge is to present a photo taken from knee high or lower that shows different levels of existence that we would not normally see in this hurried world we live in today. Monica and Tina- the contestants were encouraged to take new photos, but I've always like this one. This is actually the very first flower photo I took in our garden. I was hooked from that point on. I was actually on my belly when I took this picture too. :-)--Randy

Marnie, I agree. Wouldn't it be nice if we could all just slow down a little and learn to look at things from different angles? This going to sound crazy, but when my precious Scotty Dawg was alive he would always sit on the floor and rest his chin on the windowsill and look outside. Sometimes I would lie beside him and do it too just to see what his world looked like. :-) You would be surprised how different the world looks from 12 inches above the ground.--Randy
Randy, I could just imagine you on your tummy taking photos of the ants. Tee hee... This photo turned out very good. Worth the effort/angle.

Great photo....while I've been painting I had to stand on the countertop and I said to the girls..this must be what it looks like from flying insects perspective. Love to see things from different angles...
