My neighbor has a vine growing in her garden that has the most wonderful fragrance, but she has no idea what it is. This spring I started growing the vine from seeds, it starts very easily. Just guessing I would say it’s some type of Jasmine, but I don’t know. I’m certain someone out there knows what it is and can help us out with the name. One more note about it, it make large seed pods.

It sure looks nice. If it has fragrance, then I like. Let us know what it is.
Wow, that vine is very lovely; I love the big buds. I don't know from jasmine, what with living in the frozen tundra of the North. ;-)
It is lovely. Looks like nice strong sturdy leaves too. I can't help you with an ID though, I've not seen it before but will check back to see if anyone else identifies it.
Like you I think it is a jasmine of some sort. It isn't a northern vine I can tell you that. I have not seen it here.
I have no idea but it's a pretty flower. gail
I'm surprised! With all the die hard gardeners we have in our little group of readers I thought for sure some one would know it. Maybe some more people will take a look at it today. I don't want to put my seedlings in the ground until I know what conditions it likes.
Hi there guys !
I have the excuse that I am in a too cold climate to grow this beauty .. but it is what it is (a rose by any other name ?) haha
It looks beautiful and if it smells wonderful .. well guys finding the name would be great, but just having it is fantastic , right ?? LOL

I'm pretty sure that you have stephanotis floribunda (Madagascar Jasmine). It is beautiful, and I can imagine the fragrance!

We don't have the wonderful scented honeysuckle or jasmine like you lucky folks in the south do. I did see some star jasmine at a garden center here. Imagine how unhappy the gardener will be when he buys it and it dies the very first winter.

I have to agree with Cameron that it's some type of stephanotis. It's so very, very, very similar to Madagascar is has to be some cold hardy version of it.
This is the vine you sent me seed from? Beautiful. Glad Cameron was able to help a bit with the id. :)
Hey there Racquel,
Yea, this is the vine. The seeds sprout really quickly.
